Interesting bits from the first Naruto official guidebook :D

I thought I'd post some bits I scanned from the first Naruto official guidebook, Rin no Sho :D Because Kishimoto likes to mention his boys' relationship~ :)

This is a classic.. but with a twist ;D This is taken from Sasuke's profile page.

The caption says basically: "Will Naruto bittersweetly relax Sasuke's obstinate heart...!?" XD Yes, bittersweetly (amazuppaku 甘酸っぱく), indeed. Kishi is amusing :D

Then we have this one. I took this from a list of minor characters appearing in Konoha ^^

This says: "Tobio, male, genin, 12 years old. In the explanation meeting for the academy graduates, he casually ends up pushing Naruto, causing Naruto and Sasuke to share a passionate kiss..." Yes, for the second time in the guide we're reminded of the kiss XD And "netsuretsu" = passionate, ardent ;D

This and the next one are taken from the glossary at the end of the guide. Some weird terms in this glossary, we have.. ;D

"Usuratonkachi = Sasuke's characteristic nickname for Naruto. It literally meant idiot, but now he's using it as a pet name!?" Or you could say, "in an affectionate way" :D

This is by far the most amusing/interesting one, IMO :)

"First Kiss = The first kiss anyone longs for. But Sasuke's was stolen by Naruto...!?" LOL, 3rd reminder of the kiss, and what a reminder indeed XD Was there need to put it into the glossary as well? ;)

Kishimoto is suuuuch a shipper ^______^ I'm currently reading the second guidebook, so when I finish it I'll post more canoness if needed ;D

*bursts into giggles* Yee! Sankyuu for posting this! XD My life is totally worth living if only to see the ending of the series where Naruto is a housewife in pigtails and Sasuke coddles his and Naruto's mutated-gay-babies. You KNOW it's going to happen. >_>

Now I want the book, and wish I could read Japanese D: Kishimoto is so shipping these two on the side, just like that time he said "Sakura, who had intended to be the first one to kiss Sasuke, has it stolen by her rival Naruto, Sasuke and Naruto are rivals, so there’s and added tension there."!

wow...I love you and I want to have your metaphysical babies. That's awesome...it kinda reminds me of what I read at Toriyama's world in Sasuke's profile when he said he remembers how Naruto tasted. *fangirl squeel*

Kishi-sensei, you're such a tease! Just come out of the closet as a full-blown SasuNaru shipper already! It's not like we don't already know! ^_^

XDDD I read the Chinese version before, and when I read the caption beside the KISS pic, I thought it was because the taiwan translators exaggerated the whole thing...since they are known for putting hints into their translation.........

BUt....I can't believe the Japanese version is the SAME~!! XDDD

Hell yeah! Totally made my day :D Now I dont remember where but it was a interiuw with Kishimoto-sensei and it was something about sakura,sasuke and naruto love triangle (I mean..he said it was a love triangle :P)...I mean sakura likes sasuke and naruto likes sakura then sasuke likes naruto? he said it was a love triangle,right? and if sasuke likes no one or if he like sakura(wich he dont :P)...then it would not be a love trinagle either way...so he HAS to like naruto..and naruto like him? I mean...naruto dosent seem to like sakura THAT much..more like a friend :) anyway...sorry for my weirdness...maybe its just kishimoto-sensei giving us fangirl some serviece ;P but who know whats gona happend? *fufufu*

..I love Kishimoto-sensei. He makes me happy. I mean, at one point I was resigned that the story would end in het.. But..

Thank you so much for posting this, and I can't wait for the SasuNaru details you pick out of the second guidebook!

I really wanted to read the official databooks, but so far I haven't found that they've been translated into English or scantalated anywhere, and unfortunately I can't read Japanese yet. --__--'

Now I have something to giggle ambiguously about all day at work! XD

That's just wonderful XD Kishimoto is such a shipper, the poor thing. I mean, first the kiss... then the Haku/Zabuza thing *which somewhere he said was actually a shonen-ai pairing*... the the aforementioned kiss cooming up in like five of the endings and or beginnings of the japanese anime [which really, why would it be there *smirk*] some moew stuff that would take forever to list it all and now this. Just lovely!
